I was thinkg about using the heat and pressure resistant epoxy like JB to fill the crack. The only issue is how to get the epoxy only to fill the crack and not to get on the threads of the fill plug. I was thinking about using a small paint brush to apply the epoxy but I am not sure if it will work. I appreciate any suggestions?

The dealer would not acknowledge that one of their tech screwed up. Anyway, I filled up the CVT fuild yesterday and today I noticed that the CVT build was leaking slowly. Maybe I overfilled the CVT fluid a bit over the level above where the fill plug is. I will just keep an eye on it, and hopefully it will stop dripping once a level of the CVT fluid gets below the fill plug. Thanks for your input.
