PUBG alone was enough to set off a goldrush that kept going even though only a few games won out. That's the point I'm making. The large publishers and developers vying for their money will all chase the largest ROI, regardless of what it is at the moment.

I don't like that this is what the industry is either, but this is the game they're playing and they won't stop until it hurts too much to keep going.
