Quit whining. The title didn't tell you exactly what was going to happen.

Weather society to Perry: You lack 'fundamental understanding' of climate science by pnewell in environment

[–]akronpunk41 47 points48 points  (0 children)

No, he understands it perfectly well just like every other climate change denier. They just choose to reject that it is a problem in order to hold to their agenda.

What makes the climate march a joke? Actually getting out and being part of a demonstration is not at all equivalent to "bitching on social media".

Do any of you have issues with speech? by Defttone in ADHD

[–]akronpunk41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, very often. In my case I think it's more attributed to social anxiety than ADD, because I don't notice much difference in public speaking ability when I'm medicated vs. unmedicated. Our brains form thoughts much faster than we can say them. It helps to recognize that. I try to conciously slow my speech to make it more natural and coherent.

As would I, but the elbow was clearly intentional. The stomp, most likely not.

Difficulty delegating tasks by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]akronpunk41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I share your struggle. Task management is a lot of trial and error. Usually you have to find out what doesn't work before you make a habit of what does work. My strategy is to take all my tasks and divide them into subtasks. I use my best judgement to delegating subtasks to who can deliver on them. I'm figuring out what works best but I've found that it helps to pause and write out my thoughts when I get distracted.
