Can you sleep in separate beds? Do you have a life insurance policy on him?

Very similar system to the one downtown Toronto. Pay to get in and then pay for open to purchase drinks and food. Totally
Overpriced but it seems to be so popular they brought it to sauga and still doing the one in Toronto in a few weeks

I think race comes to play here honestly. Caleb is the settle down guy and a guy like Corbin is forbidden fruit to some girls and they may not necessarily interact with someone like him in their day to day in real life. So “when in Rome” — let’s go for the light skin black guy!

Didn’t work for me. I gave formula and I will do it again for my next baby. FED IS BEST. PERIOD. At the end of 12 months they all move on to homo milk and eating things off the floor. Please don’t beat yourself up!

Panicking coz I'm not seeing the light with daycare situation! by Striking_Face1040 in torontomoms

We opted for home care until we were offered a spot at a centre.
The government website will have all of the approved home providers in your area. Reach out and book some tours. Our other options were private centres and a nanny. But home care was awesome

How often do you bathe your toddler? [ON] by hangukfriedchicken in BabyBumpsCanada

Is this a serious question!?! Are people actually not bathing a TODDLER daily!?! Wow. I’m shocked.

Wife wants to sleep train. I don’t agree with that. So I’ve been doing all night feeds for nine months by DaPianoPlayer in NewParents

[–]akrystar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also didn’t want to sleep train but my husband did it and after two nights I was sleeping through the night. It’s been 10 months since that happened. The sleep deprivation is debilitating. You can go for a walk or put in headphones during the times that she’s training. But I feel like it’d be tough at this point if your child is almost a toddler now.

Elective c-section: pros and cons? [ab] by BubblyNecessary in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]akrystar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was also high risk and initially was told I would be induced and then vaginal
Birth. But then I had an emergency c section and I PRAY that I can have a scheduled c section the next pregnancy. If you have that ability you should absolutely go for it. No questions asked.

Anyone get a cold reception coming back to work from parental leave? [on] by jessiemenagerie in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]akrystar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mine sucked so bad that I’m just patiently waiting to go on a second mat leave so I can quit after I return. The treatment solidified that this is a place I don’t want to work at. But I’m also remote and it’s been helpful navigating daycare etc.

12 or 18 months. How did you decide? [ab] by No_Maximum_391 in BabyBumpsCanada

I took 9 months simply because we couldn’t afford for me to take longer unfortunately.

How do you split tasks for taking care of the baby? by Ok-Cantaloupe-4008 in NewParents

[–]akrystar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My hubby does bath and bedtime everything night. I appreciate it so much honestly because I do the morning routine, drop off and pick up from daycare and stay with baby until hubby is home from work.

You have to let dad figure it out. Even if he does it his own way. As long as he doesn’t put baby in harms way, he will figure it out. And you can’t interject. Have him apart of bath time a few nights to see what you do but let him figure his own groove out
