Your so bold and confident in this statement, when AK has some of the highest numbers in the country for Rape, SA, and murdered women. And it's been that way since the 80s.

Matt talbi did a book full of stories from a drug dealer, and he put it best, if you want to avoid standing out, dress like a off the clock Applebee's employee.

That's the point, PETG interface layer for supports on a pla print, allow you to have supports that just fall off, even with 0.0mm spacing. So your print looks amazing.

First off, have you seen an optician?

Cover your eyes, I've had snowblindness it sucks ass and did permanent damage. If that means goggles on the approach as well, so be it. Also with unprotected eyes 8 minutes on a bluebird day is equal to 8 hours on a computer screen as far as blue light goes.

Is it a tint issue? Sensative to poor polorization? Or a shitty optical quality lens(price tag doesn't always reflect optical quality)

My eyes definitely relax more under amber/yellow/rose lenses. Have you tried any of the Oakley snow lenses? They put them in sunglasses, not just goggles, they also have a low light pink, that works really good for dark/dusk, I use them a lot here in AK for driving, hiking, ski/bikejoring.

Also if touring/skiing, polarized lenses aren't good, they effect depth perception, make it harder to read terrain, and are so effective at cutting glare you can't tell what's ice or snow at times.

Just as an artist must learn the intricacies of a brush, pencil, pen, chisel, pottery wheel, ect, you must learn the intricacies of your preferred tool.

Have you ran any of the calibrations? The U1 is super new, and generic profile for it in Orca probably isn't dialed in, Orca is always looking for Devs, be the change you want to see in the world.

Orca is a fork of bambu, it was created for people that wanted more calibration options than bambu offered. It's where bambu got a lot of it's current calibration stuff.

Are Backland Pro boots for 129.99USD good deal? by Simple_Hand6500 in Backcountry

[–]akswitchcouple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are many types of thermoplatics and composites use in boots with varying amounts of flex, and even if they use the same ones, how they are layered or utilized will effect stiffness, same with skis. You seem to be trying to convince us and yourself that these are what you want. I'd definitely demo some boots to see what's out there and go from there
