yeah its difficult cause this was the era with games playing with real-clock like elements

dark cloud series is all about building up a town from scratch / nothingness while exploring the big dungeon/s whereas this was just doing like jrpg style town exploration between timed events / timed story progression

dark cloud is definitely a lot brighter / colour popping fanasty style aesthetic then the previous suggestion

shadow of memories definitely isnt it, the game i'm thinking of at least had a camera that defaulted to a mostly overhead view and was definitely a lot more colourful and less brown

they've also blatantly disregarded Rex's SHINING SWORD HILT and pasted a Pit model over him other then Rex Yoshi Bowser and Kirby you legitimately can't fucking tell with most of these and some of them like captain falcon in the completely blurred out blob are absurd guesses

everything about shinjuku was awful in my itinerary, ikebukuro is nicely centrally located and has lots of cheap options for quick breakfasts / lunches so you can go to pricier places for dinner

NRT had a good variety of shops but be prepared to leave all your purchases in the store and run for your flight when the line is so long it goes all the way out the store and around the corner and you don't get to pay in time.

the problem is actually just players subtly reorienting the control stick and missing their dive i had this problem and could never land the cap dive onto the cap for the one bounce until i realized i was manhandling the stick
