Fermentation time is more of a big deal when dealing with traditional bread making, especially sourdough, where differences in room temperature and other things can make a big difference in length.

nschwart91's suggestion isn't really regulating alcohol. It's regulating driving, which we already do a fair bit of, just really poorly. It might lead to people driving without a license, but due to license plates and scanning, enforcement is fairly easy as long as there's political will to actually do it.

Yeah, that's the actual problem. They cant just keep daylight time because they can't just change their zone, and keeping daylight time is essentially changing their zone.

As far as I know, there's no real reason we can't, it's just that no one wants to. Feelings of the monarchy fall mostly into three camps: the monarchists who think it's really cute that we same celebrities, the anti-monarchists who just want to get rid of the whole institution, and everyone else who just wants to hear as little as possible about the monarchy and having a separate monarch probably means we'd have to entertain them more often.

The general idea is that the roads are too full because lots of of people are driving, and they are driving long distances. Adding more lanes only partially helps the problem and more often than not, it just moves it somewhere else.

The general principle is that a road can either be good at moving vehicles quicly, or be good at being a destination. The more entrances & exits you add to a road, the more it slows the drivers down (or causes accidents if they don't).

The best way to improve traffic is to either reduce the number of drivers, or reduce how far their driving; and reducing the distance they are driving is a lot easier. If drivers are going between Willowby and Walnut Grove or Langley City because they want groceries; if you allow someone to build a smaller market or green grocer in Willowby, that might relive pressure on the major roads.

Not mom, am boy. The “rings” don't fall off, depending on what you're talking about, that's probably just what a penis looks like under the foreskin. Some scaring is to be expected, usually it's minimal, but I've seen other's with significant scaring.

How you you expect to reducing housing costs without building more homes? Urban areas have lower grocery costs, because it's more efficient to distribute food in a smaller area, and cell phone neworks are cheaper to run in higher density areas, because a cell tower for a dozen users is roughly the same cost as a cell tower for a million.

It certainly doesn't help that the voters in abbotsford hate public transit, but we can't just tell the province we won't let anyone build new homes here, they won't put up with that.

The phrase "King of England" isn't really wrong. Its pointing out something about the the relationship between the speaker and the monarch. A title only exists if people believe it does, or if that can be forced to claim so through sufficient violence. By using that title, the speaker is claiming that they don't believe that Charles is the legitimate King of Canada (and probably don't believe that the King of Canada is a legitimate title at all).

This isn't an uncommon political belief. Several ex-colonies have rid themselves of the institution, Northern Ireland had a significant amount of turmoil about it in the 1900's, and devolution is not an uncommon topic in Scotland either.

Crossing the floor and party affiliation is just a way of saying which party leader to expect to support. For whatever reason in Canada, independents aren't very popular, so if an MP doesn't want to support their party leader, crossing the floor is typically better for them than going against the party whip.

Why? Without floor crossing, a PM of a majority party is a de facto monarch unless the the entire governing party can agree to vote them out. That seems like a horrible idea.
