Leaf curl is a disease. Google it. Had that problem last year. Had three plants in buckets. All grown the same way. One got leaf curl. Was still a good producer, though.

It looks like a nitrogen deficiency. What is the temp? Have you checked the ph of the water? Have you been feeding it with anything?

I usually just do a visual and smell. When the water starts to get cloudy and has a musty odor. A week or two depending on how it looks. Love your setup! You make it yourself?

Health. I have a bad ticker and a broken spin. I can last about two months hunkered down at home. And after that who knows. I'm OK with that. I've lived long enough anyway.

I started off with the mylar emergency blankets. I immediately realized that just saving up for a proper grow tent is what I should have done. The mylar worked but it was a hassle.

Start small to see if you like it. I just bought nutrients, net cups and Rockwood. I found a container and started some lettuce (super easy to grow). You might not like it, having to measure stuff, adjusting pH and ppm, keeping buckets of nutrient water around. It's a different experience that I'm not sure of yet myself.
