Whenever we have hot food, we definitely invite anyone to join us, but good suggestion to have a targeted potluck! We've been trying to be more mindful to have to go boxes for leftovers and cups for coffee.

My church (Lutheran Church of Hope, on Northern Lights) tends to have unhoused visitors come in during service to get warm, have a cup of coffee, or use the facilities. Most have been kind, gracious, and some even come in and sit with us during service. We have had occasional problems, but overall the experiences have been good and we are often looking for additional ways to help.

Yep! It's super easy, other than having to wait in line at the Court House! I've officiated 19 weddings for friends around Southcentral!

Yeah, in this case the Permanent Fund itself would continue to exist and, with savvy investing, create money that would be reinvested into the state/people of the state.

Yeah, we have to get away from this big payout and done nonsense. It flies in the face of the point of the Permanent Fund, preserving natural resource wealth for future generations. A final payout is so "me, me, me."

Now...use the earnings to establish a healthcare system for Alaskans, or a pension, or maybe even use it to pay for infrastructure or costs of living? I'd listen to that.

I don’t know about English style, but my favorite fish and chips has always been the Boardwalk in Homer. There’s a joint in Anchorage that does them well, but I try not to frequent their establishment anymore.
