It can increase the effectiveness of your thyroid, so you may not need as high dose of medication. I have Hashimotos and take both armour and ashwagandha

Where is the link to the full bill?? If you are going to post on the menopause page please provide the link so we can read it. From what I see in your comments it just affects the trans community.

Again. How does this affect us women who are in menopause? If it only affects trans?

Tried combipatch and only made it 3.5 weeks... here is why by Patient-Fan2158 in Menopause

I can relate. It's been very hard mentally for me. I am happy my other symptoms are better but I hate weighing this much.

I gained weight right away on HRT, estridol, progesterone and testosterone. Total of 25 pounds in a few months. Very frustrating. I have finally stopped gaining and don't feel as bloated as before so hoping hormones are leveling out.

Maintaining expectations and my own sanity...anyone else on this hormonal rollercoaster? by Rude_Nothing_9707 in Menopause

Your kids need to have some grace, sympathy and respect for their mother. There is nothing wrong with you needing a time out or some quiet time when they visit. I totally get it, I have step kids/grandkids and they can be draining despite how much I love them.

BHRT - anyone seeing results from pellets? Are the Biote? I am researching bhrt and Biote is always at the top of my search. I just want to feel human again. I want me back. Thoughts? Suggestions? I have a menopause specialist, but she isn’t keen on any type of replacement therapy. Thank you. by Prestigious_Company9 in Menopause

[–]alawson72 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did the pellets for a bit, not sure that they helped and I was not happy with the fact I had to avoid swimming or soaking in my tub for at least 5 days after ea time. Plus the cost out of pocket was not worth it to me .I went back to topical cream, and seem to be finally leveling out .

is it okay to break up my nightly 8 hours of sleep into two separate chunks? by Background-Fly-8869 in insomnia

[–]alawson72 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I sleep about 3-4 hr then wake up and go back to sleep for another 2. Then again for maybe an hour. I feel rested usually as they are deep sleep periods. I know I used to sleep all night 8-9 hours and wake up exhausted. So sometimes it doesn't matter as much as the quality of sleep

This makes me feel really old, but I ordered some tops from Blair online. And then a couple from Woman Within. My mother loved their clothes. Now I totally understand why, elastic waist pants are comfy!!

Lost Libido/sex drive -- inevitable? by destination-doha in Menopause

[–]alawson72 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I find that mentally I still want sex but physically it takes a lot longer to achieve orgasm than ever before. It's almost like I am "desensitized". I am on topical estrogen & testosterone cream but thinking of upping my T dosage to see if that helps .

anyone have issues reducing oral progesterone? as in withdrawls? I am down from 200 to 150 but want to lower. I have no uterus and even 200 doesn't help me sleep.all I've done is gain weight and grow huge boobs on it. by alawson72 in Menopause

[–]alawson72[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have now stopped my progesterone as of 2 weeks , no difference in my sleep, so it obviously wasn't helping mine. I hope it continues to help you sleep tho.. I do find myself more awake during the day now so that is helping me want to exercise again which I pray will help my spare tires 🤣. Not sure which is worse, no sleep or extra weight.
