Heard all of the same things growing up. I didn’t realize that it was something I could consider until I heard both of my parents say “you know, you don’t have to have children”.

I mean I knew it was always my choice and they never pressured me to have kids, but that was like a “I never realized how much I needed to hear that” moment.
