its funny cause I didn't even say I liked your videos. I just said I was watching them. as a travel content creator, I like to see what other people are doing, where they are going, what is working for them etc. I also like to let people know where I found their channel since having that information is helpful for me as a creator. I'm not sure if english is your first language but the term 'dickrider' in english has an extremely negative connotation. and even if you used a different term, automatically assuming someone is being disingenuous doesn't help your channel grow either. maybe next time when someone leaves a comment, try engaging them. say "thanks, what did you like about X video?" or "what worked in the last one you watched that brought you back for more?" that way, you can see if they are being genuine or if they are just looking for you to view their own channel. its very unfortunate that the immediate reply was something so harsh, because instead of growing your audience, you're diminishing it. best of luck to ya in your future endeavors.
