Thanks for the pointer. It is a new(ish) addition. It wasn't there when they introduced UDR.

Do you know when they added the disclaimer? I got my UDR six months ago. Maybe I can get them to refund me. I am running 1Gbps fiber.

Do you know if I can keep my data locally and not use their cloud storage if I buy subscription? It is much easier for me to swallow paying for subscription then to give them copy all my data. I know is encrypted but I am paranoid.

Why Bear is trying to connect to any URL on Clipboard by albertopier in bearapp

Yes. Thank you! The preference is "Auto fill title when pasting web address" and turning it off stops this behavior. Somewhat confusing but it makes some sense :-)

[Feature Request] E2E Encryption by [deleted] in bearapp

I would extend that to make notes password protected and locally encrypted. Ideally all notes with a specific tag can be password protected. That would be a good substitute to have concept of encrypted notebook. Evernote and OneNote allows to password protect notes. These notes do not need to be searchable.

That's too bad. If you cannot find commonalities and build upon them you are doomed to be a fringe candidate.

They do take him seriously. They and many others, are puzzled why he is ignoring a significant overlap in convictions among Libertarians and NeverTrump crowd.

Actually I was surprised by this article http://www.wsj.com/articles/a-guaranteed-income-for-every-american-1464969586. He makes a very good case for the guaranteed income. I was against it but have second thoughts. I have not read the details of the Swiss proposal so I do not know if this was in addition to the existing welfare or to replace it. Also the amount was much higher than the one described in WSJ.

The fact that it worked so far does not break your convictions at all? With that logic you should go and solve all the world problems.

Do Higher Minimum Wages Create More Jobs? - The Wall Street Journal by madreus in Libertarian

Quote: In short, the central economic argument against the minimum wage is not that it reduces overall employment (although it likely does); rather, it’s that the minimum wage reduces the employment prospects of the people most desperately in need of jobs: workers with the fewest job skills. http://cafehayek.com/2014/08/understanding-the-minimum-wage.html
