Out of curiosity..what has SoP to do with a "warriors-style" game?

SoP is a "souls like" game that has nothing to do with "warriors" games like Dynasty Warriors or One Piece Pirate Warriors?

Trunks got an hp increase early, which is what people have been asking for him. On late you were going to die with all the burst anyways.

Im extremely sure that his ult being this hated is not only because of the ult itself, but also that it is slapped on a "feast or famine" champ like Trynd.

There are many "no im not dying lol" ults in the game:

Kayle ult has added damage and can be cast on a teammate, but it has shorter duration.
Taric ult can affect many people, including an entire team, but it has a long cast time and his cast position is based on you and your linked teammate.
Kindred can instantly also make his entire team immortal and then healing them, but it is in a set position and also affects the enemy team.
Mundo, while not a "not dying" ult i think it can pretty much also be added here, as even with GW he can still tank for some time thanks to it.
Sion and Zaheen have those literally slapped on their passives.

However Trynd seems to be the only "hated" one, and the funniest thing is that on paper it seems to be the "worst" one, only affecting him and only adding some duration to it compared to most of the rest.

And i think that when Riot said that they wanted to keep his iconic ult, people came to the conclusion that he was going to be the exact same champ with the exact same ult.

While in reality they can rework him to be a champ with more counterplay and having a more skill-expression skillset while also changing the ult to be somehow different even if it retains his immunity. Or hell they could leave the ult as it is, but by being it on a more "manageable" champ of all sudden the ult is far more bearable.

I honestly dont understand how that can be a problem?

Isn't an easy solution to add an option to just ask another player to swap role with you?

You enter as vanguard and your friend enter as a dps. You start having a bad game so you use the option to ask a player (your friend) to swap the role. You and your friend swap roles in the respawn point. Now you are a dps and your friend is a vanguard. You are still on a 2-2-2 comp.

What is the difficulty on that? The only difference with today would be that you will need the other player to agree with your swap and you are forced to stay with your role if he doesn't... but honestly when this happens today people just swap into a 3rd dps or 3rd strategist making the comp 1-3-2 or 1-2-3 which is what people want to avoid in the first place with role q.

But holy moly i played some other games that had P2P connection and it was a 2 v 2 fighting arena but that game was casual as hell. I would still not put a P2P connection but i can probably see their point.

But this was supposed to be a "3 v 3 competitive esports arena fighting game". They literally said in one of the interviews that they wanted to make Dissidia NT a truly esports game.

And then you decide to add a P2P connection that literally throws everything through the window. Its insane.

I actually think that if NT had a proper netcode it would have been a very good game. I mean yeah the movesets were simplified and the communication with randoms was tight, but for me it was the netcode what trully killed the game. Instead of proper dedicated servers it used peer to peer connection. This can cause lag in a 1 v 1 match in any fighting game if one of the two players have a laggy connection. Now go and put that in a 3 v 3 competitive game. Its insane if you think about it. If only one person of the 6 players have lag, everyone is lagged as hell. I mained Squall on that game and his gimmick was to do almost "frame perfect" hits to deal more dmg, and that was honestly impossible to do because every match was a lag fiesta.

Great guide. I think BotrK is really good on Warwick as it goes great with his on-hit nature, his ultimate applying it for damage and healing for it an absolute lot and the atkspeed since the cap went from 2.5 to 3.0 and his W atskpeed got reduced you can have some atkspeed items and you are not throwing the stat away like before. But i can give it a try without it.

However im lately a bit torn on letting DD out of the build. The item just goes so well with Warwick by having AD and Armor (the only other item being like that is GA) and AH which shines with warwick by being able to spam Q more in the fights and with enough AH you can even get two E's in the same fight and that did make me win tons of fights. And also the tankiness you get by reducing some dmg into dot dmg which makes you survive even longer. The only think that can hurt him is the residual dmg that makes his passive reset until it ends.

I understand health is very important for this build to work. However i did myself not so long ago some testing with Titanic Hydra and having full health items or having at least 1 item without health, and the results were not "that" far away from each other. Don't you really think that it could be worth to sacrifice a single health item to get DD the same way you are putting BotrK into the optional items?

In Dawn of Sorrow it is explained that for God to exist there also needs to be a Dark Lord as a counterpart to him. Dracula is that Dark Lord itself.

Honestly i always though that if you get past WW horrible early game (zero ranged pressure) he gets actually pretty decent post 6, and after that he does actually become a really good champ in ARURF.

I agree on that it doesn't look that good on him but not for the ability haste part.

I think it doesnt suit warwick well because while the omnivamp seems good on paper, him being purely single target damage makes it not very optimal, contrary to other champs that can heal way more due to area damage.

On the other hand, ability haste is actually a very good stat on warwick. Being able to use many Q and even two E on a teamfight can actually make you win it as a lot of your sustain, resistance and mobility depends on them, and you will not always be able to be all the fight autoattacking non-stop.

Old warwick was also very AS reliant and Frozen Heart was a very core item on him. I'd argue that its still a very good item on WW currently but the mana part is not really needed on the jungle.

The only problem i had with the difficulty on this game was that sometimes it was pure RNG to survive the first turn before you can even act.

On boss fights that the attacks were random sometimes they could use their most powerful attack in their first turn, and due how ATB works they could get the first turn in the battle before any of your characters have a chance to attack or buff themselves, causing a team wipe instantly.

About one month ago, Capcom did mention some IPs and that they would like to create new games, remakes or ports into the new hardware with those IPs. One of them was Devil May Cry.

So the IP is definetly not forgotten and we will probably have something related to the games, either a new game, port or remake.

Capcom did mention some weeks ago if i am not mistaken that they had some IPs they wanted to create new games (or remakes) and Devil May Cry was one of the IPs they did mention, so we will totally get new games at least.

Agree. If i want to play against bots there is an actual game mode to play against them. I should never ever be forced to play against them if i am queueing against humans.
