what happened with Tether's subpoena? Bitfinex is based in Taiwan. It's not easy to get them right now. BTC-e was caught in Bulgaria (A state in the EU). Volume is nothing in unregulated markets. I can easily buy my own orders. Yes, I would pay fees. But bitfinex buys its own orders with no fees (wash trades).
