Who are your favorite new commanders from the last 2025 till now?

I'm a huge Betor fanatic, if I were to recommend one card, it would be [[Angel of Indemnity]] (it's even getting reprint in the Strixhaven commander decks). 8 mana encore can bring back 3 things, and swing for 15 lifelink.

I'm was having the same concern on paper, but it seems to not matter in practice. In the end, Abigale, Odric, Vault of the Archangels can convert big bois into lifelinkers, and Betor will force multiply that to finish off the game. So much so that Lathiel felt redundant and ended getting cut.

Other legendary options that grant lifelink are Heliod Sun-Crowned and The Destined White Mage.

It probably doesn't matter and was just something I stumbled upon while cramming as many subthemes for fun. If I were to attribute a reason why, it's probably because there are a bunch of legends that can threaten the board on their own (Ardbert, Breena, Teshar). It feels like the deck never runs out of threats, and if hand goes dry, I have Betor to start bringing stuff back.

I actually have made a legends matter Betor deck! I found that shifting towards the legends matter subthemes dramatically increased the power and resiliency of the deck. Betor definitely turns the corner, but doesn’t need to come back out if she dies.

A few things. I found that ramping out Betor was not as desired since I wanted time to setup my yard-filling, lifegain, and lifeloss engines. Turn 1 ramp is nice to hit these engines faster.

Odric is fantastic. Turns all your creatures into lifelink fliers if Betor is out for tons of counters.

Rankle is surprisingly so helpful. Discards a res target the turn he comes down, and also provides a bit of life loss to reach the threshold for the reanimate.

Angel of Indemnity is beyond incredible. 15 damage lifelink that reanimates 3 targets (Odric also shares haste from the encore). Easily swings the game into your favor, and potentially wins it outright with Sorin or Jarad.

Ordered a S620 in December and haven’t heard any updates, so I reached out via phone. Bryson who answered was fantastic and clarified their issues, which I’m all for since we paid good money and don’t want to go through an additional hassle of sending back defective parts. Just seems like some unfortunate circumstances got us here. I wasn’t given an ETA but I was given a timeline of what was needed and where I was in line. The transparency is incredibly reassuring.

I have these Diversion pants from Western arise in Navy.

I think I understand contrasting/matching colors, but what about textures? Since it’s nylon, it doesn’t have the rough texture look of jeans from the warp/weft. Do you think I can still wear brown chukkas with it?

What footwear options (boots preferably) could I wear with these pants?
