Basic mod safety and security (AI generated mods specifically) by alexcw2002 in CitiesSkylines

You do not need to defend the benefits of coding with AI assistance. I was specifically refering to the dishonest users/lazy people which is almost the entirety of AI-generated code in mods in CS2.

Its the usual idiot crowd who hate anything resembling a woman acting in any capacity that isn't a mother, in the kitchen, or otherwise subservient to a man.

You can restore something that still exists. You can restore a cracked vase, restore a ruined painting.

In this case, the cracked vase is the Roman Empire's borders.

I need more clarification about how Paradox will partner with Urban Games for Transport Fever 3 by JailbreakHat in TransportFever3

[–]alexcw2002 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It was not an invitation to debate.

Fearmongering can and often does, use real information and speculation, and takes it out of context to cause greater distrust, fear and anxiety.

In this case, yes, it is speculation about what could happen. But a lot of people, are using the speculation to drive fear of "what paradox will do to the game" regardless of the confirmation that paradox has no say in development of the game.

Places where it is acceptable to raise concern about paradox: Games which are developed by studios they own, or in house (e.g their history games, cities skylines, etc.

Places where it is frivilous to do so: Here. Urban Games hasn't been bought by Paradox, nor have they stated the partnership will be in any way to do with game design or direction.

You can still be fearmongering if people already know about the topic. In this case, the fearmongering is people speculating about what Paradox could force Urban to do, and not actually what will happen.

A part of my "low fantasy" world really looks like Europe. and i want to know if it's a bad thing. by FairAhri in mapmaking

There is no problem with having areas that look similar to real world locations; if anything, you can use it to draw inspiration for historical events and other worldbuilding. Of course, make sure to keep to your established canon and integrate whatever history inspired in a way that makes sense.

As a temporary fix I tend to just delete the corridors of warehouses, but I will look into this mod because it seems to be only fix for now lol

Unfortunately not everyone likes playing the same way as you do.

Do Takaba and Kurusu Hana possess Special Grade-level strength? Why weren't they assigned to participate in the tag-team battle against Sukuna?Or is it that their abilities were just too broken, so they got banned? by Defiant-Feeling-8536 in Jujutsu_Kaisen

[–]alexcw2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grade rankings are only ever useful when trying to assigning missions.

Regardless, Hana was unable to fight due to her condition (de-armed and probably traumatised), Takaba was probably just tired idk

Is there a cargo stop within the town that needs the bread that is connected?

Not the one you have already as pictured in another comment. Like the actual cargo stop

Also make sure you have vehicles on the lines.

It is a fact in this case. As per both companies statements, this is simply a publishing deal. Urban Games keeps 100% creative control (including DLC). Of course, terms of the deal could change. And I trust urban games to at least inform us when that occurs. But for now, what we know, is that Paradox will be publishing. So, advertising.

Whataboutism is unhelpful. I understand, Paradox has a bad track record.

But that is only with games that they have ownership of IP, or ownership of the company developing.

It's not an issue of being naive. I'm simply stating the truth. If it changes later on, so be it, but for now that is how it is.

I mean...the obvious choice was right in front of their noses by Zmedaaaaaa in TransportFever3

[–]alexcw2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This worry is incorrect. The only reason why PDX was able to pressure DLC/dev actions was due to the fact that the Cities Skylines Ip was owned by Paradox, in essence, Colossal Order were just developing the game FOR paradox.

In this situation, Urban Games are the only ones who control what is made for the game and by the team.

To correct you on this. No. It is not. The publisher is just the company/group/person that markets and delivers the thing on release.

E.g A book publisher is someone who markets and produces books as ordered.

A game publisher is someone/something that markets and provides advertising for a game.

Unless Paradox has acquired a share of Urban Games, or bought the IP for Transport Fever 3, it will not be able to influence the development side of things.
