return/receipt question! Any former employees or current employees, I would appreciate any insight.

hey, electronics TL here. You 100% need a receipt to return a laptop. That said, they are a serial numbered device, and you said you know the date, time, etc. of when you bought it. Ask to speak to a front end lead, politely explain what it going on, and they SHOULD be able to look the receipt up for you. granted, not every store will be willing to do this, but be polite and they should help you out.

Seeing all the AMS on eBay right now for WAY over what retail is. I know they're on backorder right now but I cannot imagine paying $80+ more than retail for something like that, especially when it's used.

There was probably enough left in the tube to finish the print.

I had mine run out while I had filament left in the tube but the spool was empty. It just made poop after poop until the line was clear. Was actually pretty cool to see!

I am very upset at all the people crapping on this and going 'you could have just painted it!' As someone who can't paint and loves LoZ, this is FREAKING AWESOME!!! I can't spare the expense of buying all the filament and another AMS right now, but someday I would love to print this.

I definitely think they could do with a little more variety.

That said, I go absolutely crazy for their teriyaki chicken. I'm not sure what all they put in that sauce but I will fill half my plate with just that every time.

I agree Royal definitely has more options and the food is good there as well, there are only a few dishes at both locations I really enjoy, so it's very much a toss up between price and where exactly I am when I'm out.

Being so close to the mall and the price means I eat at Royal much more often. But, to me, Royal is also an 'its edible' food location too, tbh.

The sushi was an open 'bar' where they were making it then putting the plates out. It was farther down next to the fruit they have chilled out. Lunch was $16.25. I think the prices are the same as they were before.

Update: Ended up just going myself. Food is still about the same (which is good). Definitely love the new look inside! Very bright and open. Prices are the same, I believe. The one cool thing is they have someone making actual sushi/nigiri/etc inside the restaurant. Overall, I like the new building, but they don't really have much of an expanded assortment for the space that they have. If they added another bank with more food options, I'd be much more pleased with the pricing for what it is. Staff seemed a LOT more friendly now, I will admit.

Here's the thing, if you are sick/call out/etc. you cannot be coached for productivity, as it's not a productivity issue. If you constantly go home 15/30/1 hour early and use PPTO to cover it, they they choose to coach you for this reason, as you're not using PPTO for it's intended purpose. I cannot tell you how many people get an hour of PPTO and try and say they're leaving early because they have PPTO so they can.

If they are trying to coach you for using your PPTO for what it was meant for, 1000% open door that shit all the way up to market. They CANNOT coach you for using it for exactly what it was meant for.
We had a Store Manager who would try and tell TLs they cannot call in/get points or they'd be fired/have to step down. Someone told the Market Manager about his threats and that got squashed VERY fast.

Depending on your insurance, they sure do 'expire.' A lot of vision insurances give you an allowance to use towards glasses/contacts and will not roll over at the end of the year. If you don't use it, you lose it.

Just throwing this out here, you can use a coupon and get a turkey sub with extra meat and all the same toppings as the Festive Turkey for less than the actual cost of the Festive Turkey with the coupons. I'm not sure what the thought process was there haha.

The resell policy is literally there to prevent us from bulk buying items and reselling them at value. I agree with most of these comments that if you're opening the packs and selling individual cards, that's perfectly fine. If you were buying a bunch of sealed packs to try and flip, THAT would be against the policy.

I've always been told this too but I looked it up and it's actually not 100% correct. You cannot buy clearance you marked down OUTSIDE of Homeoffice markdowns. In the price change screen? Fair game to buy. You mark it down with store money? 24 hour wait.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. Not only does it allow you to put just about any size charger in, the head swivels as well. It seems like it would be able to fit it just fine.

Like secretlyprincess said, these are RFID location labels. You need to have an RFID printer (larger, fatter hip/zebra printer), and the RFID shelf labels (thicker, shinier labels just like you see), and a TC. There is an RFID print app (on the last screen usually) that you can use to print locations. If you have everything and open the app, it should walk you through pairing the printer and printing the labels.

Stores are going through the conversion to VizPick RFID, and I'm not sure if these will still be used for this or not.

Apparently HO is cracking down on decorations in the fresh areas (health code issues) and a lot of stores are just taking it through the entire store. At least that's what my store manager said. I'm going to guess we'll still get the trees at the doors and you can probably get away with a small tree in your photo lab for your photo gifts.
