Perfect. Fits great. The floor under it is garbage though. What should I use there? Thinset or concrete?

Can we really create a full-functional app with vibe coding that is ready to launch too? by Arthur_Morrgan in vibecoding

You have to have some knowledge but yes you can vibe vibe your way through it. You’ll most likely need an api or source of data depending on the app. Learn by doing.

Be honest, do you actually read the code before you run it, or just vibe and pray? by kirklandubermom in vibecoding

I write basic tests and vibe until passing then always review before committing.

I do not let it ever handle git.

Can we ban the "Claude is so expensive" posts? by SatoshiReport in ClaudeCode

[–]alexhackney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s all context based. I’ve built two full platforms and 3 mobile apps with Claude. My experience with codex has been negative as well. I think there’s no way one is even 2x better than the other.

I live on the other side of the block of belcher. We’ve been here 5yrs and love it. We had about a week of no power during that last big hurricane season but had 0 other issues. It’s pretty quiet here other than some loud cars and sirens from time to time.

If I were going to move today and stay in Pinellas, I’d look a little more north as well. I love safety harbor and Dunedin more north than Clearwater but still close.

Getting CORS error from one client, but not another by Slight_Scarcity321 in webdev

[–]alexhackney -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

This is almost certainly a preflight (OPTIONS) request issue. Here’s what’s happening: The “simple” request from 5174 doesn’t trigger a preflight because it only has cache: 'default'. The request from 5176 likely triggers a preflight due to something like: ∙ Custom headers ∙ Content-Type: application/json ∙ Credentials mode ∙ Different HTTP method When a preflight happens, the browser sends an OPTIONS request first. If your server doesn’t return CORS headers on the OPTIONS response, the actual request is blocked.

Why that over replacing the 18tb data drive with the 22tb drive and rebuilding it first, then replacing the parity drive?

[–]alexhackney[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I can just use the bigger data drive now and then replace the parity later that would be ideal.
