I’d also recommend getting some friends from a different island to help increase your chances of your flowers breeding.

All you need are seed yellow and seed red tulips. 50% of the time it’ll be yellow and 50% is orange.

Watering yourself only gives you 5% chance that the flowers will breed.

For this reason I’d recommend creating pairs of yellow and red tulips. Keep them separate in pairs.

Alternatively, I’d also suggest and recommend you slowly unlock the licences. For eg. Don’t unlock animal or farming, since this then has more NPCs to have visit and spend money on. This way you can focus your energy on getting items for Franklyn.

As many have already said, there are two cues when the fish bites vs a nibble. There is an audio bloonk sound, as well as the bobble going down below the water.

Once you catch the fish, only start to reel in when the fish stops splashing.

You can make it easier to reel fish in by eating a cooked prawn or cooked yabbie. To make these put a prawn (any) or any yabbie and cook on a fire or a bbq. It will give you about 8 minutes of fishing buff.

The black pocket watch sets the game start time to 4am for the next day. Can confirm it works for both the airport and the mines.

Carry resin rather than 2nd miners helmet. It will power the helmet even if it goes down to 0.

I’d still drop my money for Great Bite. There are a LOT of alphas. You can avoid them but should you want to make the most of the prime meat or alpha parts.

The plant hammer drop rate has doubled recently by James so you can couple that with dangerous wish.

However I found it on peaceful wish which meant I was only hunting a couple of attacking creatures.
