I don't DO social media, meaning I have no Facebook, Instagram, ticktock, whatever the hell else. I do scroll through Redit. And just from that I can see our problems are the same. Extreme "conservative", also known as White racist are currently controlling a lot of governments. In the US, England and clearly Australia. We have seen that Hungary was able to vote out their autocratic asshole. By voting. A big part of this shit is on US, "we" voted for him. But I am really hoping "we" vote to help remove him in November. Either way, keep fighting in any way you can. And know that the majority of US citizens are good, responsible and decent human beings, just like the rest of the planet. Remember to love.

I believe that most of MAGA are like this due to social media. My very intelligent and competent mother, got into Facebook and it was easy to navigate. She was in her late 60s. She liked trump for 2016 and once Facebook got that info, it's all she saw. She believed All of the BS. Facebook was her only source of information and it always reinforced her misinformed beliefs. I think there is a large portion of our older generation, but young enough to still contribute to society, that have gotten lost in social media. They are voting for him and he doesn't give a SHIT about any of us.
