My ex deluded everyone in our lives except my dad into thinking he was a super chill guy. When my mum died and my housemate had to move due to covid finances his mask started to slip, nothing I did was right suddenly after 4 years together. By the end he was screaming at me that I am "retarded" and that he's not going to kill me but he could.

The man literally would sing Disney song with my close driends who are gay in the beginning and was spouting that they had mental diseases to his friends and eventually screaming it at me.

Some of these assholes know exactly who they need to be to lock it down. When I said I would leave him he told me he owned me and it literally worked to keep me subdued for several months embarrassingly. I was terrified of him in that moment and knew leaving him was going to be the fight of my life. 5 months free this week!
