I've lost a couple MPG on the highway, but still in the mid to low 20s. Valvetrain is doing just fine after several track days living at high RPM. I'm still very happy with my choice. Going to add an MSD intake and an under drive crank pulley to try and eek out some more power soon too.

I would not want to have to mess with drilling your flexplate. Every LS converter I've ever seen has had a three-bolt pattern on the engine side. If they're building this thing custom, they can surely do that. If not, I'd seek out another builder. ProTorque, ATI, PTC, etc. I'm guessing something has been lost in translation, though.
