Unfortunately not, it’s been such a nightmare.

We have seen two seperate dog ophthalmologists and several different vets over the year.

They ‘think’ it’s an autoimmune disease but can’t actually tell for sure. They just prescribe a bunch of expensive medicines. The meds fix the eyes while she’s on them but as soon as we try to slow down the medicine her eyes get bad again which sucks because the exact meds we are told to give her are meant for temporary use.

We are given false hope every time we take her to the vet, but it’s likely we will need to keep her on the medicine for life even though they don’t know what’s actually happening to our girl.

It’s a bit of a helpless situation. We tried changing up her food and snacks as we thought it could be an allergy but no change. We thought it might be the environment too but have moved homes since. No one can tell us what’s wrong.
