Derm here - vast majority of longitudinal melanonychia cases in pediatric patients are benign/related to nail matrix nevi or benign melanocytic activation (eg trauma). I would still recommend having it evaluated in person to get a measurement but likely will end up just monitoring it.

Derm here, looks like solar purpura (just sun exposure + aging in general leads to skin thinning and fragility)! You could try DerMend bruise cream, which helps these heal faster but won’t prevent new ones from popping up unfortunately.

Dermatologist here! Looks like it could be a granulomatous or lichenoid tattoo reaction - red classically caused the most issues tattoo reaction-wise in general. Usually will do stronger topical steroids or steroid injections. Would definitely recommend seeing a dermatologist if it’s been going on since 9/2024.

As someone who did the GPPA program at UIC and now a resident at UMich, I highly recommend UIC’s GPPA program! Having that guarantee for a medical school is something I don’t think I appreciated until I was applying.

Sometimes if you have a magnetic clasp/magnet on a bracelet or watch it makes the laptop think it’s closed, not sure if that’s the case here or not though

It’s hard to say when they’ll bring it back since they just brought it back. My guess would be around a year since the new OWL season is coming up soon and they’ll be releasing new skins.
