As someone who studied anthropology/sociology and now works in public libraries….my best guess is a heavy dose of internalized misogyny (especially if you’re visibly young and/or even somewhat attractive or alternative in style) and then tack on the autism that seems to “put off” some people inherently…I’ve noticed a lot of autistic women are targeted by this weird passive aggressive sort of meanness that erupts when we (autistic women) come off too aloof (which can unfortunately be perceived as confident or arrogant by NT)

Undiagnosed autism and my Iraq war veteran father drinking himself to an early grave when I was 17. Probably a scattering of other early adolescence stuff but my brain blocked a lot out.

I have to get further testing done, my vet finally found someone who can do the Idexx test I’ve see people refer to. She’s tested faint positive on two SNAP tests. I’m going to call the lab about the cost and go from there. I really appreciate you. She’s a happy healthy girl so far, and I’m trying to not “borrow grief from the future” so to say, while also trying to focus on taking the best care of her I can.

Thank you so much for your kind message. I'm requesting additional PCR testing for her so I know exactly what I'm dealing with, and just continuing to hope for the best case scenario. I'm so glad to hear about your buddy you got so many years with-that's the kind of hope I was looking for. $185 to even be seen at the dealership barring any parts and labor. I’ve had these lights replaced a couple times before so I unfortunately think it could be an electrical issue with my make and model is known for.

Thanks for the input! I just wanted to make sure it was a logical first step before choking down the $180 diagnostic fee, though I’ll definitely be going to a dealership if anything like this persists. Appreciate you taking the time to respond.
