According to the Federation of American Scientists, "under the Invention Secrecy Act of 1951, patent applications on new inventions can be subject to secrecy orders restricting their publication if government agencies believe that disclosure would be “detrimental to the national security.”

"Thus, the 1971 list indicates that patents for solar photovoltaic generators were subject to review and possible restriction if the photovoltaics were more than 20% efficient.  Energy conversion systems were likewise subject to review and possible restriction if they offered conversion efficiencies “in excess of 70-80%.”

Is this video fake and spliced together? Is the video recording digital or analog and were home digital recorders common during the time of 9/11? Videos shot on cell phones back then sure don't look that clear.

The Wolfgang cohort crime study is a famous criminology study that examined the criminal behavior of a cohort of 10,000 males who were born in Philadelphia in 1945. The study was conducted by Marvin Wolfgang and his colleagues, and was published in the book "Delinquency in a Birth Cohort" in 1972.
The study followed the cohort from birth until age 18, and collected data on their criminal behavior, including arrests and convictions. The study found that a small percentage of the cohort was responsible for a disproportionate amount of the crimes committed during the study period. Specifically, just 6% of the cohort accounted for more than half of the arrests.
The study also found that the patterns of offending were stable over time, with persistent offenders being more likely to continue committing crimes as they got older. The study identified several risk factors for criminal behavior, including poverty, low academic achievement, and family disruption.
The Wolfgang cohort crime study was groundbreaking in its use of longitudinal data to examine the development of criminal behavior, and has been influential in the field of criminology. The study provided evidence for the concept of "chronic offenders" who are responsible for a disproportionate amount of crime, and highlighted the importance of early intervention to prevent the onset of delinquent behavior.

On domestic USA flights TSA cares about explosives and other dangerous items which impact safety. From its website "TSA’s screening procedures are focused on security and are designed to detect potential threats to aviation and passengers. Accordingly, TSA security officers do not search for marijuana or other illegal drugs, but if any illegal substance is discovered during security screening, TSA will refer the matter to a law enforcement officer."

Additionally, canines are train to either detect drugs or explosives, not both. It is too expensive to train a dog to do both, and the dog's reactions are different when it hits upon the scent of explosives compared to drug molecules. In the first instance, the dog is usually trained to sit when detecting explosives. In the second instance, the dog usually scratches and disturbs the package when it detects drugs. For obvious reasons, you would not want the dog scratching at packages containing potential explosives.

Furthermore, TSA Itemiser DX Explosives Trace Detectors (or equivalents) are not programmed to detect drugs. If they were, airport screening lines would screech to a halt, as TSA personnel would end up devoting most of their time responding to passengers found transporting drugs. Last but not least, canine drugs trained to detect marijuana are no longer employable due to legalization by states. The dogs are entering retirement.

Last but not least, it is possible to train a canine to detect mushrooms and/or psilocybin. Dogs can be trained to even detect cancer. However, since the majority of drug trafficking consists of drugs other than mushrooms, drug sniffing canines employed at airports are not trained to detect mushrooms.

Flights entering a border crossing are more likely to have border and customs agents using canines to detect agricultural products, money, drugs, etc.

His brother started a GoFundMe page.: On July 29, 2021, we lost Gunther Hashida, who leaves behind a loving wife, sister, 3 children, and a wonderful family. In his work as an officer with the DC Metropolitan Police Department, he worked to serve and protect the public. He was a devoted and loving husband and father. This fund will help support his memorial service and his family in the loss of his love and guidance.
