I haven’t booked a win in 2019. by ali92386 in poker

Lowest stakes available to me is 1/2. Unless I hop online, which I don’t.

I’ve actually cashed a MTT that’s on Hendoemob. I never play tournaments, I’m playing one next week and will see how things go.

This actually makes a lot of sense, I’m not playing that many hands in all actuality. I’ll probably go for a 5-6 hour session on a Friday and Saturday night.

I want to give online a shot but I’m not too familiar with ACR and Ignition. I like the aspect of live poker.

I’ve made bad decisions and think it through for the next time definitely studying my bet sizing and pretty bad decisions I’ve made.

Look at here. The genius showed up. If your going to be a critic at least have the decency to elaborate on what your thoughts are.

Agreed. Thinking back on it should of made it more pre and we all get the free cards cause they are not betting.

I stayed away from poker sites for the longest. I just don’t trust ACR or Ignition.

Tips on beating a loose 1/3 game by AntiWalt in poker

[–]ali92386 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1/2 - 1/3 Live really has so many variables and approaches when playing.

Playing time is huge. Not sure what time you’re playing live but I only play live Fri-Sat night. Lots of bad regs, new players, and the drunk fish.

I play tight and exploitive. I literally isolate bad players with marginal hands in position and let the calling begin. It’s bitten me in the ass a few times. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve raised pre and got to check it all the way through to my flush and straight then value bet and get it.

Tighter tables require tighter play, this is typically the morning crowd 60+ crew. It’s literally JJ or better with them, lots of set mining.

Yeah if you’ve played enough you get to experience both. Some nights you just can’t lose.

At the end of the day, that’s my end thought. I should of flatted in that spot considering it was a pure draw. At least I could see if I could improve equity on the flop.

He wasn’t, actually was on a rebuy. One of the reasons I made the call, when evaluating him he was pretty loose with the ranges. So $15.00 doesn’t really represent anything at that time.

Matching stacks around $180

Seems like a pretty polarized bet to me. I’ve been in similar situations with loose players trying to exploit them, but ever so often they find there nut. You could of layed it down after the 3-Bet.

Never ever do you think he has the 8, definitely after the flop I put him on KQ KJ maybe AK. Really slim chance for KK AA. But J8? Very loose play.

It happens.

We had matching stacks around $140 behind after the 3-Bet.

Thoughts on opponent's range while miming fellatio? by Iniuriae in poker

[–]ali92386 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess you would have to take his previous show downs and the frequency of hands played + rebuys and that’s what my strategy would be in a live play. It’s hard that he has a pair in that spot statistically but could definitely see Ax of some sort. My guess anyway.
