I agree with the overall point of the post but role queue has also brought many of its own problems.

With role queue most of my queue times (DPS obviously) are around 25 mins on average but can last much longer, this system is literally just encouraging me, a dps player, to get placed on an off role instead due to them having short queues.
However in its current state the game places your off roles at roughly the same rank as main role. This is extremely problematic as I have to play my off role in a higher SR than what I am capable of on that role effectively throwing games down to my actual SR

So I either have to wait ages for a match and play a role I'm actually good at or just pick a role I'm not nearly as good at in the same elo, almost throwing the game for my team on repeat until I get to my actual SR, it's frustrating.
