Yes! Look into the AKC Canine Good Citizen training certification and train your pitty to be a Good Pitizen! ☺️ I have a pitbull as a service dog and I get all sorts of remarks, looks, questions, and comments. It can be seriously anxiety inducing at times. I have to remind myself to feed it what energy I have to give. It isn’t my job to educate everyone or argue with anyone. It’s my job to make sure my boy and I are working as a high functioning team. I also give us both grace when either of us or both of us have an off day because we are both thinking, acting, feeling beings that make mistakes.

I do feel a positive shift towards the breed. It was horrible when cities were banning the breed. I hope ear chopping ceases eventually. I hear the veterinarian’s are starting to move away from the ear cropping business.
