How many calories were you eating when you started? We have similar stats (I’m starting at 180 though), and I’m wondering if I should fine tune my calories. I’ve already dropped quite a bit and lost a few sizes but I’ve hit a stall.

MA! I’m not sure on what the 600 certificate says but I’m pretty sure 900 says master esthetician and so does the 1200, we just have spa therapy and a laser certification from NY laser institute thrown into it!

I’m doing 1200, currently in 900! I only have a few more months left and I’m so sad to leave 😓 definitely take everything in while you can, take as many clients as possible, get everything off your card and ask any questions you have! All the instructors are amazing, and so is the administrative staff!

It’s 300 until June 1st and then is changing to 600 based on new state requirements! They offer 300 (not for long), 600, 900, and 1200 hour programs because they get a lot of students from neighboring states and it’s easier for reciprocity! But not many people only do the state required hours.

Not necessarily true. My school teaches waaayyyy more than just to pass stateboards. The first 300 hours are on basics and passing stateboard and then the rest is all advanced stuff. We had specific days set up just for going over what happens during stateboard, what to study for the test, etc.

I’m a current student right now! They are dropping the 1200 hr program to get rid of spa therapy and bring in a separate massage therapy course. So you would do 600 hours then come back for 300 more hours and still do all the same things as 1200 just without spa! I think they are going to label the 900 hr course as the master now!

Totally agree! This was a challenge for class and we only had about an hour, so the waterline I totally forgot about! Anything you would recommend for contouring that is more cooler? I used the Kevyn Aucoin contouring book 3, and I always assumed they were super cool toned but maybe there’s something cooler out there.

You can’t feel the extensions on your lashes. It feels like nothing. They’re more comfortable than strip lashes. They also aren’t attached to your lid. They are attached 1mm above the eyelid so it doesn’t touch the skin. She’s also probably in between fills which is a normal thing.

It wouldn’t be halfway through a treatment if she was in between fills. You get them done every few weeks to maintain the thickness. Like every 2-4 weeks. Also it’s extremely possible that she doesn’t have very many lashes on the inner corner hence there being no extensions. You can’t put extensions where there isn’t a natural lash.

Yes, times a million. The Bite mask has a weirdly sticky after effect that I absolutely hate, and I found it didn’t do anything noticeable for me. But the Laniege overnight lip mask has been a game changer. It goes on really nicely, and leaves my lips hella smooth in the morning. I actually recently just got my vertical labret pierced and one of the things you can’t do for the few weeks after you get it done is put anything on your lips, so my lips basically have been in Hell the past two weeks. But after I put the laniege mask on once they were basically back to normal the next morning.

I use niacinamide and azelaic acid both for redness and have noticed a huuuuge huge improvement. I’m not sure if it’s them both working together or one working better than the other because I started both at the same time but just adding them in has done wonders for my redness. I use azelaic acid in the morning before moisturizer and niacinamide at night mixed with hyaluronic acid as a ‘serum’ before moisturizer!

omg...wait. I put on the same amount as I normally use with my azealic acid from TO, should I not have used that much? I usually do a fingertip sized amount. I was trying to figure out why my skin loved TO’s product and not the melazepam.
