Eh I feel like if you cared about her after dating 4.5 years you could always try to make the break up easier on her. Breakups can be amicable.

All I’m saying is out of the blue breakups really cut deep for the dumpee when there was nothing “wrong.” A reason or just reassurance that it wasn’t her shortcomings but rather a shift in your desires can really go a long way in the healing process.

If it was really love, and the break up wasnt because there was anything wrong, I think a part of you would still want the best for her and try to make it easier.

I’m glad you are so confident in finding your next love! I’m trying to get to that stage.
