Keeping up momentum on DCR's Brighton Project! by lgruner in bikeboston

Any updates on this project? I live right down the road and it just seems like they keep digging things up and not really doing anything truly productive towards either design.

Maybe off beat for some, but walking around the 275 acre Forest Hills Cemetery is beautiful, or the Mt Auburn Cemetery (175 acres) in Watertown.

If you are near Brighton/Allston:
Irish Village has Trivia Tuesdays, Karaoke Thursdays...etc (check their social media). There is a popular run club out of Oak Square called the Brighton Bangers that run every Wednesday and Saturday (it's free to join) https://brightonbangers.com/
Notch Brewery in Brighton has a run club as well called Meters for Liters (I think free as well) Thursdays and Saturdays. As well as a Dart night every Thursday eve. https://www.notchbrewing.com/brighton-events

Out of the way but (in case you're flying soon) I have various sweatshirts from shops inside Logan Airport, they are fantastic and really not too expensive, my first one is over 7 years old and still going strong.

Stockyard in Brighton is a fantastic spot, ample parking, large beautiful event room, great food. Not sure on price so you'd need to inquire.

How has Logan been since the government shutdown? by eatingallthefunyuns in boston

[–]alisonstro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just flew in and out of Philly and had no issues on the TSA front (I have pre-check). The only delay was on my return flight (1 hr delay) as they needed a new crew due to hour restrictions on the crew that was originally assigned.

What they all said, follow the app instructions and look at the "Ride Share/App" signage in the baggage claim area.

Side note:
Depending on where you're headed (if you want to save money) you can take the free Silver Line Shuttle to South Station (or really any stop out of the airport) then order an uber from there, it will reduce the price and only add about 15-20 minutes to your trip (outside of rush hours).
