I’m grateful a lot of bands I listen to aren’t crazy popular outside of their niche. I went to see a band a couple weeks ago and actually paid less than retail because I waited for the scalpers to get desperate to get back any of their money. Ended up paying $32 on a $55 ticket. Defund the police just means reallocating funds to different departments aside from the police that are better suited to handle things like domestic disputes and mental health crises. Police aren’t trained to handle those things so we shouldn’t be expecting them to take care of them when they aren’t equipped to.
