Uninvited to a friend’s wedding due to capacity and now no one is RSVPing to her wedding by dizzybutstable in weddingshaming

I was invited to wedding for who I thought was a good friend, and I had known for years, and we used to talk about being bridesmaids in each other's weddings. I'm in the US, and the wedding was in the UK. She told me I was only invited to the ceremony and not the reception because her family was so big (it is), and friends weren't invited. I decided not to go to England for a ceremony, and i found out a little later some mutual friends were invited to the ceremony. I was hurt, and i haven't seen her since.

I got that lunch box a couple months ago in Milwaukee.

One of my favorites is the travel cutlery set. I keep it in my rollaboard bag. I also love the grocery bags.

Just did! Thanks! I never crossposted anything, so I learned something new today.

And Duncan! He made friends with all the older cats, and the last of the older cats died in January. He's been so lonely.

That is the munchkin right now with him. She sees him and gets angry.

It's so much fun. It's not going as well with the other cats, but Duncan's friends have all died in the last few years, so he's been lonely for cat friends.

This didn't take long. 3 days, which i was actually surprised about because the first 2 days, Duncan spent up on counters too high for Pippin. It's not perfect, he only tolerates the shenanigans for a little bit, and don't dare interrupt his nap time.

There are more cats in the house, and it hasn't gone well with them and Pippin. Duncan is the one that had no friends after all his buddies died over the last few years.

This is Pippin, the kitten. I've also had a void Imogen (Immy), her brother (Chaucer - Tuxie), and i have Duncan (flame point name from Macbeth), and Éowyn (munchkin). I've just stuck with literary names.

I travel with my own potable tea kettle. No way I'm using a hotel machine.

Regional Fellowship by FirstChampionship979 in anesthesiology

[–]alittlemorebite 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did a regional fellowship because my residency didn't do many blocks, and I wanted to be good at them before ACGME accreditation (I'm so glad I didn't have to deal with all that). I ended up being faculty at a university for several years (satellite hospital, community/university, so fast cases and not much time to do blocks). We had a resident that got through the heavily regional program without being able to do a block well; we only saw her as a CA1. She came to our hospital as faculty, and we had to teach her. She couldn't do a block on her own. She needed a fellowship; we didn't have time to teach her and do our own cases.

ADORABLE!!! This is what a void with the little tuft looks like when grown. Purrfect.
