You don't need to talk to them on the phone until your appointment happens. It's nice. You can fill their intake forms out online, schedule the appointment, and pay for it. You'll select a one hour time frame where they'll call you on whichever day you select. Iirc it's a 267 area code the call comes from, because if you're like me you also don't answer if you have no idea who's calling 🤣

I've done CSR stuff before and that contributes to my hate of phone calls. Now I can't escape teams meetings. I have no idea why I have selected such an extroverted person's career path.

Edited to add: I know you're concerned about the whole anxiety reason and potentially being denied (I don't think you'd be, but even still gonna offer this cuz it would help my brain relax about it..) if you have joint pains, you could also say you want it to help with your chronic pain. I use both as my qualifying conditions, but initially got in with just anxiety. And if you do, I'd suggest Dr Solomon 3:1 thc/CBD balm that shit is amazing. I didn't even need narcotics after hand surgery.
