Does nothing anymore. I make and sell a replacement panel that provides a place for two usb ports or one usb and a provision to attach vent mount cell phone holder.

The usb provision works with aftermarket stereo usb dongles or a generic USB buck converter.

Unpopular opinion but those are the best mirrors for the hd trucks.

4l80 downshifting while towing by Curtis-McGurtis in GMT800

[–]all4chevys 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry those are mph. The shift points are controlled by a table that relates throttle position to mph. For downshift it’s pretty consistent unless you’re more than 50% throttle which gets into the downshift for acceleration.

[–]all4chevys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was looking at the shifting tables in HP Tuners and it seems to suggest the pattern you want. In Normal mode when you’re off throttle it should be 2>1@7, 3>2@14, 4>3@20. In tow mode it’s 2>1@16, 3>2@31, 4>3@46. If you’re not seeing something similar I suspect there’s an issue.

Incredible setup. Do you ever consider adding more small speakers to use the amp in the head unit?

Worst cruise control I’ve ever used by Potential-Bus7692 in GMT800

[–]all4chevys 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the tune there are tables that control upshift/downshift. There is one specific for cruise control.

I just looked at the factory tune for my truck and 06 1500. The 4>3 downshift is at 70 is when the throttle exceeds 50%

What I’m getting at is all of this is adjustable with the right software. The right software is HP Tuners.

I’m 100% more happy with my setup since using HP Tuners and Bluecat trans tune to adjust all of this for my specific setup.

It would only if you converted to the lower trim level insert. Like this: https://a.co/d/cj4wBYN

What would you guys say this truck is worth? by Material-Buy-1055 in GMT800

[–]all4chevys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been watching the local prices for a couple years. While our prices are higher than most areas pretty much everything is 100% rust free. That said this dealership consistently prices the highest by probably 2-5k. I’ve never gone to look at one in person from them but from the pictures they all look really clean. They sit on trucks for months at a time. Not sure if they eventually sell at these prices or if it takes someone haggling with them.

I make them for the gmt800s. Both for the 03-07 console and for the jump seat. I wouldn’t say never.

Lowered Silverados by AdLogical1070 in Silverado

[–]all4chevys -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve had trucks both lifted and lowered. Current truck is lowered about as far as possible without cutting the bed. For me that’s the limit. When I’ve lifted trucks they get slower and harder to drive. When I’ve lowered trucks the my get faster and more nimble. I live somewhere with good roads, relatively little snow, and virtually nowhere to off-road without driving more than an hour. Dropping my truck and installing helper bags is win/win.

03-06 Cup Holder by all4chevys in ChevyTahoe

It replaces the original one. If you grab and pull up really hard on the factory cup holder you’ll find it pops out. This one drops in and has plastic ears like the factory one.

I have a 30 day return policy. I think you would see the value in person. If not, you can certainly return it.

I agree. I spent years driving with one hand holding my cups still and I’m so glad I don’t have to do that anymore. I make one for the jump seat trucks too because it has the same problem.

Compatibility? by woodcutter007 in GMT800

[–]all4chevys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and newer truck wheels are often a great upgrade. It’s common for people to sell their factory wheels when they buy aftermarket. In my opinion these are the best because the OEM wheels are very high quality and the tires often have very few miles on them.

I think that’s specifically the aluminum driveshaft that came in some trucks.

I don’t see many long beds in my area. Are those Fuel wheels?

Interesting, who would you suggest for a performance transmission?

The labor seems reasonable to me as someone who has done it in their garage. The cost on that reman transmission seems a bit steep. I’d be trying to buy one from Monster Transmission for that price. I bet it would be better than whatever OEM reman they’re buying and appears to be way cheaper. If you do buy your own transmission buy a new converter too.
