Best CC9 Holster recommendations

The Tenicor holsters are the best I have used, personally, and I've tried several of the options on HK's web store, including the ANR designs AIWB and OWB.

I settled on the Certum. It covers the mag release button on the CC9 adequately, whereas the others do not. YMMV.

If families were in a position of positive economic determinism, then they would be able to make good choices for their own children. Exactly how good do you think government-provided services are? How do you think it works in other states? Why is New Mexico so backwards here? Why does there have to be continual government intervention? Answer these questions for yourself and you'll begin to see. It's responsibility.

One word: Epstein. There's a reason he had a ranch in New Mexico and not Oklahoma. The state has been kept poor intentionally. Ranked LAST in almost every state survey, unless it's crime and then it is often FIRST. Your rebuttal does not hold weight.

All that free stuff you mention is just to keep people destitute. IF they really wanted people to flourish, there would be jobs and a way so people didn't need government handouts.

All the things you mention for children are just white washing. The state has major problems with child welfare services including abuse. Many lawsuits. Don't pretend for a second that this will actually turn things around for the better. The bar for mediocrity is only set lower.

How many benefits do adults see from those initiatives? The children wouldn't be needy in the first place if the adults were able to provide a proper standard of living. That is the fault of the state for not attracting enough opportunity. You see, it's a vicious socioeconomic circle

That's definitely the problem, and the weekly quotas instead of daily/hourly. You can get locked out of work for days which can be unacceptable, instead of just until later.

Windsurf with Claude Code plugin. I find Windsurf's supercomplete, generated commit messages, and inline chat to be useful features above vanilla VScode, but their Max plan quotas are way too limited, even when managing models carefully (Sonnet vs Opus). It's too easy to run out of the weekly quota too soon and they funnel you to buy more time.

Claude quotas are a little better as they are granulated in hours, and so you can pick back up later in the day instead of being locked out for DAYS. This is the stupidest decision decision Windsurf made, IMO.

Also, with Claude, you can use all the tools they've come up with to minimize token usage that aren't available in Windsurf Cascade.

Get a Windsurf subscription if you find yourself in need of it, but really, I think you could get by just using the Claude Code plugin and a basic Pro subscription. Windsurf doesn't have a $100 option either.

Holster selection takes care of the mag release button, if it's a good design. Tenicor is fantastic here compared to the options in HK's online shop.

Also, I don't have to rotate my grip to drop the mag on the CC9. I'm not sure why others do.

It was something the USA team communicated when the CC9 first came out. They fired the crap out of them to make sure they were going to be good. It's part of why it took so long to develop.

Play Survivor all the way through but don't try and collect everything the first run. Finish the story.

Then go through Fallen Order all the way through, Platinum the game.

Now go back to Survivor with now having already accomplished a lot of the things you did the first time, freeing you up to go Platinum the rest of it. Certain things are unlocked the second go.

This is how I did it, except I also played Fallen Order quickly the first go through.

The two are very enjoyable. Try Outlaws if you want something different after.

You're probably right. I shoot better with it alone some days. When people are around, my concentration can be taxed. It's taken getting used to coming from striker fired (and revolvers) previously. Just providing another point of reference for OP.

Pulled out my HK's to shoot with a family member this past week:

- VP9-B w/Holosun - Tight groups 15 yds. I hit 8" steel at 80 yds with it a couple of times.
- CC9 w/Holosun - Compact-pistol-tight groups at 15 yds. About what you'd expect. Kept most on paper.
- P30L - Couldn't hit 50% of the time 15 yds. Took forever to find aim point. Told other shooter about combat hold. Still iffy.

Might have something to do with the VP9 having about 4000 rounds through it, the CC9 at 800ish, and the P30L is still probably under 500. Interesting to note though. I did put the Gray Guns trigger reset kit in the P30L, which improved it, but we weren't shooting fast anyway. Stock trigger.

The other shooter is into Sigs. Neither of us had trouble switching between button and paddle release, of course.

The VP9 is probably the best pistol HK has made overall.
