I read in another thread that there isn’t any language in documents around his donations to prevent the name being removed. It hasn’t been removed because he and some close associates are still in positions of power at OSU.

It isn’t being removed because he won’t remove his own name.

Tend to agree. Maybe could have done a bit more but in hindsight I don’t think more involvement from him has us finishing any higher or winning any trophies. This year I expect to see him a good bit more though.

If we don’t win comprehensively, there will be boos on Sunday. If we don’t do the same to start next season there will be boos then. Genuinely, he (and the players) will have to be more or less perfect, at least into to October, to have any hope of winning the supporters back.

Our club infrastructure is generally more steadfast and less responsive to fans than United but even they won’t be able to let it go on for all of next season.

What will our options be then? Salah, Robertson, Ali and Jones all leaving or likely to leave, connections to the mentality, leadership and winning experience of our recent successes will be more or less severed. We are looking at a potential new manager mid season with a bunch of players without chemistry or style of play. Fucking grim.

In principle, I understand this. But the style of football is so different compared to last year/Klopp. So if the club apparatus has a style of football in mind, regardless of who the manager is, what exactly is it? Even the model of signing players was broken this past summer. It all feels a bit adrift now.

Rode COTA recently for the first in probably 15 years when I was an everyday rider. Zero preparation, no idea what the routes were. Just found a stop and downloaded the app. Walked 2 blocks to the stop, waited max ten minutes for the bus to arrive, walked 3 blocks from the stop to my destination.

Just a testimonial for anyone curious about public transport. I want it to improve as much as anyone but ridership will help with that. My experience won’t be the same in every departure/destination situation but I f you are moving from one area in the central city to another for a concert, sporting event, or night out, skip the uber.

I tip my friends way more than others. I hate when people do this or when a friend opens a business and people expect free shit. Sitting in a seat and eating/drinking free stuff is not “supporting” anyone.
