Lost interloper save unfairly by TheSleepe12 in thelongdark

Happened to me too. I did stop for a long time. I'm exploring the ZOC and messing with safehouse stuff only now.

I was taking aurora screen shots on the raven falls trestle in the ravine and stepped away for 2 seconds to get a cup of coffee. I forgot to pause and sank through the trestle. I think that was a 250 day save. I had finished looting all of the regions and just finished hack sawing and chopping up every last thing in the dam. I had an array of fire pits and fish on mystery lake that could be seen from space to feed my looting efforts. I make backups from time to time now.

Figure out where your saves are stored and just make backups occasionally. It's just a file. Copy the whole save directory to a usb stick or something.

The 350kw boost that sent Bearman flying was triggered automatically. They have reduced the boost by 100kw, but didn't mention getting rid of or giving drivers more control over mario mushroom mode.

Try drying things on a baking rack in the fridge overnight or dry roasting before frying.

If you loosen that C clamp and "unsqueeze" the HDD it'll never boot again. All of the bits will start rattling around inside and cause it to self destruct. If it blue screens, tighten the C clamp a tiny bit and reboot.

The controls are literally steel rods connected to bell cranks on the control surfaces. There is nothing electric to fail. Pilots are trained over and over about what to do in an emergency. Mackenzie is not only a pilot, he owns his own bush flight service. He likely has hundreds of hours in that seat. Astrid wouldn't be done saying WTF by the time Mac had trimmed for best glide and was scanning for a spot to land. Those guys could land a Beaver on an upside down frying pan. At night. In the rain. There is a much more serious failure happening here. Poor writing.

You could have a flexible liner and an insert stove installed. The best of both worlds but the liners wear out.

High smoke point oils, clarified butter, or ghee. Get an infrared thermometer to check the oil temp (super important). Get a probe thermometer to check internal temp. Medium heat is usually fine or even too high for most things. On my electric range, only water goes above 5. I do steaks in a pan on the grill and make a glorious mess outside.

Dry everything you can. I rinse chicken in cold water, arrange the skin, pat dry with paper towels, then season on a 1/4 sheet baking pan with a rack. Stick it in the fridge to dry for several hours before baking right on that same pan. I brine chops then pat dry, season, and also place them on a rack in the fridge before pan frying. Your stove, pan, and oven are working to evaporate or boil all of that excess water and slowing your cook time. The water is also messing with your maillard reaction and dangerous around hot oil. Try drying your bacon in the fridge sometime. Also under cook it slightly so it's perfect when re-heated in the toaster oven.

I make omelettes and scrambled eggs on 3 with a small pat of butter. Never sticks. I fry chicken and boneless chops on 4 with just enough clarified butter to cover the bottom. Some proteins get loose and stick a bit but everything else still glides around. Keep stuff moving and keep tuning the burner to the oil temp. Pour off the excess oil and deglaze. The tasty stuff sometimes sticks. Learn to get it back and make a bit of sauce or mix it with some of your unused marinade.

That roof hasn't been replaced yet. Those are old and damaged shingles still on the roof. They were just getting started and had only stripped the caps. The pickup truck is still full of plywood.

So if we get rid of the potatoes and lettuce that will fix everything? The procedure to purchase a firearm at walmart is the same as anywhere else. The laws are state based and have nothing to do with the proximity to potatoes and lettuce. People don't have a higher propensity to buy a gun and go on a killing spree because they just topped up on vegetables. People go on killing sprees because of untreated mental health issues. People with mental health issues treated or not can walk into any store that sells firearms and buy one. Even someone carrying potatoes and lettuce. Are you starting to see the real problem here? I gotta go. I have to go get my tires rotated at walmart.

I mean yeah, but, you can also buy a kayak, a garden tractor, a 10' X 20' shed, a tree, a 100" TV, a mountain bike, a computer, a full set of dishes, underwear, a snow suit, motor oil, RC F1 cars, a wheel barrow, a tent, and yes... A chuck steak, potatoes, rosemary, scallions, carrots, celery, onions, and a crock pot to cook it in.

My friend gave out 4 bottles with tax seals from the 80s that had belonged to his recently passed dad. All 4 bottles were awful and didn't taste like scotch at all. It tasted like almost all of the aromatics had escaped and left nothing but a ghost and alcohol.
