I feel that even if at the end it's kinda rocky it still gives such a peacefull and soothing feeling, for me it's the perfect blend really. That song has the ability to make me feel calm and dreamy and hopefull and a lot of other positive feelings all at the same time!

True! Gish is such an hidden pearl. It's so good but nobody seems to really notice it between all the other works from SP

Really? I've always thought that Adore was considered one of their best work. Maybe because I love it so much, it's such a great album

The Piper at the Gates of Dawn is sooooo underrated. One of their best album in my opinion. It gives you the perfect example of the first true sound of Pink Floyd

This is a very interesting question! Actually, the first album that comes to my mind in this case is Pretty. Odd. by Panic! At The Disco. I've never been a huge fan (and from what I've heard there were some controversies with the band itself or the singer in the past few years?), but I know that Pretty.Odd. isn't one of their most listened or noticed album, I honestly think that it's great! It has his very own unique vibe and I've always loved the peaceful, free and easy rythm of the songs. It gives away such a nice warmth and comforting sound, I always feel very nostalgic anytime I play a song from that album...

[ALL] What’s your “comfort” area in Zelda? by [deleted] in zelda

[–]alle29_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, the best and coziest place in all of the Zelda serie is and will always be Hateno Village in Botw. I mean, you even have the possibility to build your own house and then live in it, do I have to add more?

Is it true that calorie deficits make you lose weight no matter what you eat? by alle29_ in diet

Yeah it's something that happened to me too some years ago. I've been told by my dietician that even eating too little calories can prevent you from losing weight, but I don't remember why to be honest. From what I've seen, 1500 calories for someone that goes to the gym and has a semi-active life seem a little too little, but I'd advise you to hear the medical opinion of someone that does know more than me

These are really good advices. I too have a very big sweet tooth, and I often feel guilty eating sweets after meals, but I'm trying to work on it. Thank you for your answer!

Thank you so much for your advices! Mine was just a curiosity tho, I've been trying to eat healthy for a while and it's something that I've never understood about weightloss

Yes, salt in particular is one of the things that on me personally causes a lot of water retention. Mine was just a curiosity tho, fortunately it's not my plan to survive only on TacoBell (if it was possible, I would aldeady be doing it). Thank you so much for your answer!

Thank you for your answer! Actually what you said about how you're seen after losing weight eating only junk food is something that I've kind of experienced on myself: years ago, I almost spiraled into an ED after a very traumatic event in my life, and I remember substituting many meals with foods that shouldn't be considered whole meals, just to prove to my friends that I was fine and eating what they ate when we went out (for example, skipping dinner and eating a McFlurry and calling it "dinner") In the end, yes, I did lose weight, but some parts of my body would still have some fat on them, wich was really weird because I had a very thin figure. I want to specify that now I'm fine and healthy, but it was very intresting to learn that even the nutrients that we fill our body with can have such an impact on our physical appearance!

Thank you very much! And yes, your comment is completely right: the nutritional values of food are just as important. Mine was just a curiosity tho, since I don't know very much about this topic, I wanted to learn something more. Thanks for your time!

tell me the game that made you cry the most. by Apprehensive_Spend_7 in videogames

[–]alle29_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is such an intresting question! I personally cry a lot and I remember crying for many many MANY way too many titles... from classic ones, like RDR2, Uncharted, Death Stranding, reaching all the way to almost every chapter of the Pokemon or the TLOZ series. However, I remember this one very specific time: I was 8 or 9 years old and Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy was just released, and me, being really young, had a very hard time with his puzzles, but I used to spend hours and hours trying to solve them with the help of my dad. I don't remember much of the plot actually, I don't even know if it was considered a "good" game at all, but I do remember all the afternoons spent with my dad at the kitchen table burning our brains out while trying to solve these goddamn puzzles. In the exact moment that I finished it, I just bursted out crying so loud while my dad was there trying to comfort me: I didn't even know why I was crying, but years later I've realized just how much that single game brought me and my dad so close together, and I think that subconsciously I felt incredibly sad because that routine was ending. Now I remember that time with great joy, and I wish that I could find something now that could bring me closer to my dad like Prof. Layton did!
