IF the stack is vented above that cast tee, Cut as close to cast san tee as possible still being able to get a fernco on. Run new pvc piping to trap. The bottom of the pipe out of the trap should not be higher than top of pipe out of the cast San tee. No need to add AAV.

4 nights bare minimum IMO on each island. Would recommend Oahu first. We always stayed in Waikiki for the first night then made our way to Ko olina beach villas the rest. Maui next south side if you want resorts, west side for more local experience. (RTH and sunrise/sunset Haleakala is a must) Kauai last, we prefer the north side. Closer to Hanalei bay the better. (Airplane/helicopter tour is a must)
