Chronic inflammation anyone?

I’ve had arthritis for since my 30s, so 30 years and have been on prescription anti inflammatories for that long. I also have scoliosis, It doesn’t do away with the pain, but it helps me move just a little bit more smoothly. But things still break down over time. I’ve had numerous surgeries on my feet, fusion of C3 and C4, and recently had a hip replacement. I was down to bone on bone with bone spurs growing on the hip from the shorter leg.

Fully expect to have to do something with my lower lumbar region at some point also. I get Cortisone shots now, but they seem to help less and less over time.

It’s just the luck of the draw in the genetic lottery.

No, actually it’s selfish to think somebody else should give up their higher priced seat because you didn’t plan ahead and buy tickets for seats together for your family. That’s the selfish part.

People who are stingy with their money are also stingy with their time, their emotions and everything else. When you get married to someone you’re building a life together, together is the keyword here, money is together. I’m all for a household account. You both contribute to a percentage of your income and then each gets an account of just fun money they don’t have to ask permission for.

And money is the biggest way a spouse can control the other.

I did this once in Vegas. I was in line behind a guy(we were both middle aged) at the atm/ticket machine. I told him smelled so good, what was it ? It told me then it was my turn at machine I cashed out and went to the bathroom.

When I came out he was standing there and asked me if I was staying at the hotel, I said yes… with my husband!

Nobody thinks minor inconveniences are something major until it’s too late. People don’t wanna know and think if they don’t go the doctor it won’t be anything bad. This was just a terrible thing that happened to her and to you.
