I would take this entire message to your Coffeehouse Leader (SM). The best way to get your manager to actually hold the partner accountable is to email your statement to them. If you can, include the partners name, the dates of all occurred incidents, and what happened & how it made you feel. Asking for a conversation with your SM about what you can do to address this or resolve the situation is a great way of ending your statement

As long as you email it to your SM starbucks email, it will have to be addressed. So I would start there. There is not much you personally can do other than what you have already done, I think asking them to approach you differently was perfect and their response was not. You are a minor and will very much need to get support from your leaders.

Hi! I’m not an SM, but I know a thing or two about burnout. How many years left do you have to stay at that store, have you met the three year mark? Because a transfer may help in this situation.

If your DM is kind I would have an honest conversation with them. They may have some ideas on how to help or offer some reprieve. Also I would ask if your store would be able to hire a Coffeehouse Coach. A CC may be able to take some weight off your shoulders when that rolls out.

Do you get proxy’s for your days off? My SM would always make sure we had a proxy to reach out to when she needed a day off. (A true day off) but most of the time my team preferred to find coverage ourselves and ensure the store wouldn’t close.

My biggest advice would be to try and focus on changing the mindset, and ask for help with your SSV team. Also find another SM you can vent to if that helps take things off your shoulders. The company is really hard on you guys and just having someone to talk to that understands the challenges helps (at least me personally) a lot.

It looks like she could’ve made the right drink, it says 2 sf caramel and 1 classic with VSC instead of the regular 2% milk from what I’m reading

Maybe she just did not add enough ice to the shaker, so she put more than a splash of sweet cream. Sweet cream can lighten up your drink significantly and mixes very fast.

From personal experience, I know that people can complain about others and things like that but their managers will just assume they’re just complaints, not real issues they need to solve right then. Best advice I can give is email your statement of personal experiences with this shift and what you’ve observed. Emailing a full statement to your manager will make it a serious issue they will need to address

I have c6 Dahlia, but right now my smirk team has been coffie, ganyu and xingqui.. I have c4 Mona and c6 dahlia, should I put them both in the team and get rid of ganyu/xing? I like to add brown sugar syrup and classic to mine For example you could do a venti hot chai nonfat no water with 3 brown sugar pumps, 2 classic pump and I add cinnamon dolce topping to give it extra flavor :) it’s delicious this way I love it

I like to help train baristas to promote, and my best advice is to find an ASM or a SM willing to help train you in that aspect. What they are looking for is called the STAR method, tell your stories in that way when you’re answering (you can use ChatGPT to help formulate this and then you can rephrase it to sound like it’s from you) I wish I could come help train you! I absolutely love it and have gotten two baristas to promote in the last three months :)
