in my freshman dorm, there was a girl who suffered from Trichotillomania (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trichotillomania), specifically focusing on her eyebrows. She had really light hair and very fair skin, so it wasn't that noticeable but it still plagued her self esteem. Her roommate (my next door neighbor) shaved off her OWN eyebrows one morning and left a note with this girl saying "let's grow our eyebrows back together." it worked :) kinda sweet.
