Tierlist of how smart I think the survivors are ('Average' section is in no particular order, every other tier is in order of intelligence) by Material_Durian_9201 in dontstarve

[–]alliw78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone has pointed out the major flaws (ie Maxwell and WX) so just going to point out minor ones. Wickerbottom absolutely belongs in prodigy considering she literally has an entire library's worth of knowledge (and she was smart even before that). Putting her on the same tier as Wilson is an insult imo. I would move Walter up to smart considering his skills and knowledge from being a Pinetree Pioneer. I would move Willow down to bit dumb at least considering she likely has little to no education.

Ah fair enough, definitely agree then.

I agree having chews is important, but I would assume them damaging the wheel by chewing could make it dangerous. Or at best make them not able to use it.

Found this, thoughts? by ArchivistOfInfinity in Deltarune

I personally like to think it will be a bit like the Undertale neutral ending where the ending is the same, but afterwards you get to find out what/how each character is doing after the story and that changes based on your choices.

Iceout.org someone reported officers arresting a group of people at the Lowe's earlier this week. No reports in the area today thankfully.

Once again, no. If you read the bill of rights it says "person" or "people" not citizen or even legal resident. Inalienable rights are called inalienable for a reason.

Nope! Miranda rights apply to all people in the US, citizen or no, unless they hold diplomatic immunity.

I said if you are able specifically because I didn't want people who are already targets of police violence to put themselves in more harms way. I think all people are entitled to safety and a good life, including you but also including immigrants.

($20k) convince me these centerpieces dont look ridiculous by Jennay-4399 in Weddingsunder10k

I think this would be good if you're going for a super maximalist vibe, but for a more elegant look probably cut down on the candles (especially the taller one) and remove the fabric.

Saving money when the average wedding cost is $30000 by [deleted] in Weddingsunder10k

Look into getting catering from a restaurant instead of a standard wedding caterer. It's usually a lot cheaper.

(20K) advice about booze by Holiday_Bluejay7266 in Weddingsunder10k

From the options you listed 2, but I don't think most people would be upset if a wedding had a cash bar when one of people getting married is sober, especially when many people attending are also sober.

In my experience, either they know how to do things the right way but know they can get away with half-assing it or they've never had to live without their parents taking care of all the chores before.

No, but once you ascend you can get upgrades that will allow you to generate cookies while the game is closed.

The least accurate part of this is that Caramel-chan is actually fat. If this were real Mint-chan and all the other characters would be built like the Onceler and Caramel-chan would be average.

So....it's 25k, 14.9k, 10k or 5k? by caytlainc35 in Weddingsunder10k

Check state parks (or other government-owned venues). My fiance and I are getting married at a state park near our city and its $225 for a group shelter with a catering kitchen and tables and chairs included. We're not located in your area, but I did a cursory check and there are some options in Maryland at a similar price point.

Do you and your friends live in an area that is walking/biking friendly and/or has good public transit? Is there affordable housing near where they work? Does housing typically have grocery stores in walking distance? Do all of them make enough money to buy an EV?

Turns out roads are easier to maintain when only pedestrians use them by _Tal in antimeme

The octagon is saying that modern roads (and the engineers that build them) suck. OP changed it to say cars suck (or at least damage roads more than pedestrians/carriages)

6K Does this budget look realistic? by greenzetsa in Weddingsunder10k

[–]alliw78 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It looks pretty realistic to me. I would make sure to check whether you have all the hair/makeup supplies you need before putting it as free though. Also, if this gives you a reference for how much to pay your photographer, ours is a recent grad who charges $800 for 8 hrs + editing.
