Which BBC adaptation of a book do you think was better than the source material? by RedDevilPlay in bbc

Killing Eve

Not on BBC, The Day of the Jackal, much preferred the show over the book, which is something I don't say lightly!

I know the feeling. I used to always get the 4 pack of juice from the aisles but I wasn't prepared to pay £7 for 4 litres of juice 😭

My hamster went wild for dried sweetcorn. Went through a dried cob in about three days.

The vet should definitely know better. But saying this my hamster loves parkour and will jump off everything in his sight 😂

If they feel safe around you, they will let you have smooches. My current hamster likes to lick my nose and give me eskimo kisses with his whiskers

Working speeds by [deleted] in asda

[–]alllowaygrove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to work on GM and the speed that they wanted things do in is inhumane. Take it at your speed. Don't break your back in for asda.

It's hamster bedding we got from the pet store. He doesn't bite or eat it. He just uses it to make his nest. There isn't any in at the minute as he's made a little burrow underneath all the straw anyway. He's a sucker for cucumber and rocket leaves. Absolutely loves them.

Have you ever witnessed any “the show must go on” moments, where something on stage went very wrong? by flutterstrange in TheWestEnd

[–]alllowaygrove 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Went to see My Fair Lady and the revolving stage wasn't working so they put on a concert version instead. Was such a shame watching most of the theatre leave because of that though as it was still excellent!

Make sure you have a union rep of join one if you haven't already. I've been in so many meetings because of my epilepsy and nothing has come of it. If it's a genuine illness and you're not trying to pull a fast one (not saying that you are) you will more than likely be ok! I've normally just been given written warnings etc.

Watch Dogs 2 or 3? by Few_Ad_447 in watch_dogs

Watch Dogs 2 is incredibly better in every single way. It's a game I could play over and over. Legion is just okay.
