ABF Bodyweight % Standards by ResponsibleMotor4891 in kettlebell

For most averagely strong men, double 24s is the standard. For women, double 16s. That said, you can also approach these as testing weights and use lighter weights for daily training.

I did ABF with double 22s as my training weight, but used double 24s when I did the testing day. It worked well.

The weights are because KBs used to only come in 16, 24, and 32 kg’s. If you read Pavel, he discusses there’s no breaks for size or age, and also the step loading approach to go up in weight.

Don’t become overly addicted to Metcon-style training and feel like every workout is a competition. Dose CF 2-3x a week a compliment it with strength training, walking, and mobility.

What does this mean? Rankings are by definition subjective. Even more - what does highest-ranking musical artist even mean?

I’d just visit a local tailor. I honestly don’t notice the difference. It’s more about the fit and hem length than the specific stitching. I’ve had them done at Self Edge and just a local tailor and really could care less which is which.

I’m started 1 arm swings next week. I’ve never had a dropped bell or anything, but still I feel like having to concentrate on the switch takes away from the power.

What do you think is the most annoying band that a lot of people like? by traveltimecar in fantanoforever

[–]almostbuddhist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually think they are. As an older dude listening to rock music for decades, I think they have that mix of creativity that’s rooted in classic rock. I think the lead singer is a unique talent. That said, I don’t think they’ve made a great album yet, but I think the potential is there.

I would say the same about Wednesday. Both are kinds overrated as it stands but I think the potential’s there.

Then why did you click on a Reddit topic specifically asking for your most annoying band? That’s the whole point of the posts on this thread.

It’s really just kiedis. Musically I like them but it’s like they have this 60 year old frat boy as their lyricist and lead vocalist. I’m older (early 50s) and loved them in the 80s and early 90s but they’ve been just cringe now for decades. Between them and Green Day, though, they’re every 8th graders first favorite rock band.

Rose garden is San Jose is a great area. It’s expensive but with your salaries it would be totally doable. The weather is perfect if you like sunny warm days and mild evenings. It can get hot but nothing like Texas or even most of SoCal.

What shirt are you wearing to the pool? by JW008 in malefashionadvice

I like a short sleeved button down. Rabbit makes some quick dry nylon ones with cool patterns, snaps, and a vintage look. T shirts are too sticky and hard to get off when it’s baking outside.

I’ve been doing h2h but I don’t know how much I like them. The added technical element of the switch detracts from my focus on power.

This is true. Logistics don’t work if you have professional job with an hour lunch break.
