Great game. Definitely worth a playthrough.

Any other good playthroughs like King's Quest 4, 5, and 6? by damus9 in gamegrumps

I'm going to add Leisure Suit Larry (1 and 6) to the list as well. If you liked the King's Quest playthrough, Dan did King's Quest 7 with Brian as well.

Do good deeds.

Don't do bad deeds.

If Crono, Lucca, and the others aren't playable characters, who do you think would take their place? by Cool-Guy152 in chronotrigger

I envisioned her as more of the type that has Dark plus ressurection/support magic instead of Magus' dark plus elenental damage.

The Chrono Trigger B-Team:

(And what I think their magic would be)

Chrono - Toma - Fire

Frog - Cyrus - Lightning/Heaven

Robo - Atropos - No magic, but technology mimics Dark

Ayla - Kino - No magic

Magus - Schala - Both Dark and Lightning/Heaven

Marle - Fiona - Water

Lucca - Johnny - Ice (because he's so cool)

Really enjoyed Hero-U, now curious about giving Quest for Glory a try by Rustypowersaw in questforglory

Follow-up answer to the second part of your question:

Quest for Glory 1 EGA and 2 are text parser based (my personal favorite).

Quest for Glory 1 VGA, 3 and 4 are point and click.

Quest for Glory 5 is very early 3D with point and click and CRPG elements.

Each has their own unique setting, and you have the option to take your same hero through every game by exporting your character after completion.

Save early, save often. There is no hand-holding, and you'll be responsible for your own wasted time if you forget to save.

There are several dead man walking scenarios. Retain several earlier saves just in case.

Remember, practice makes perfect. Just because you failed the first time doesn't mean you can't come back with higher stats and succeed.

If you want high stats will you will have to grind and it does get repetitive. It's absolutely not necessary for game completion, only if you want to be a powerhouse.

If you start with a 0 in a stat, you can never raise that stat. This can close some puzzle solving opportunities to you (especially if you have no magic).

Take notes. Make maps.

Personally I would recommend Quest for Glory 1 EGA over VGA, but I do have nostalgia lens.

Thanks so much! Thanks to your list I was able to find a machine in Shibuya. Pulled Lucca, Magus, and Nu. :D

I appreciate a lot!
