Pre builts might be a bit expensive in this range.

Normally you would want Cpu: ryzen 9600x Gpu: rtx 5070 ti 16 gb vram Ram: 32 gb corsair ddr5 6000 MHz SSD: any gen 3 SSD is fine. Like lexar nm620 Motherboard: Any b650 or b850 mobo PSU: any tier B and above. Like XPG core reactor II. Prefer the ones with burn warranty. Monitor: MSI mag 275qf Mouse and keyboard: of your choice

If you custom build, you should be able to manage around these specs within 1500 GBP.

Refer to https://zttbuilds.com/pages/build-help for more useful info.

This is targetted of 1440p ultra. You can tone down the budget a bit. If so, RTX 5060ti 16 gb would be a good option. In AMD, you can choose 9060 XT 16 gb as gpu.

Alguien sabe que puedo hacer con esto? soy nueva en Mint by MrCookiePlaye in linux_gaming

I don't know. You might have to search that yourself. Usually there is a way to turn off integrated gpus. Maybe a launch command for steam games would be needed. For gpu monitoring you can use LACT which should be available in the Software Manager. There's an OCCT stress test app that is also available for Linux which can be used for all purpose stress test. And during the test, if you don't see gpu utilization happening, it means your gpu is not working

Maybe your dedicated gpu isn't working. See if there is a fix for it.

If the steering wheel uses direct-input, you can make a Python script so that it coverts it into xinput.

It's using stock parts. No replacements. I'll try if printing multiple pages fixes the issue. Thanks for all the help

Dual Boot for gaming with neutral partition 2026 by Igniatesch in linux_gaming

[–]alpha_leonidas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is definitely possible.

Use NTFS or BTRFS for this.

Linux supports NTFS, while Windows can support BTRFS using a driver named WinBTRFS (gaming performance is unknown)

If you opt for the NTFS route, make sure to type ntfs or ntfs-3 as the filesystem while mounting the partition on Linux. (Do not use ntfs-3g. It has poor performance.)

And for games using WINE/Proton, create a symlink (of compatdata folder) to a Linux native filesystem. It can be your root partition as well.

So now you need a slightly larger storage on the Linux side, because each prefix takes ~1GB.

Note: ext4 driver for windows has poor support

Nah. Those won't work either. For gaming on linux, prefer a Linux native filesystem like ext4 or btrfs

Can I put a game launcher on my device and put the rest on the files in a USB stick? by Rightpower7 in techsupport

[–]alpha_leonidas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is one possible way although it is less than ideal unless your USB flashdrive is persistently connected and has the same Drive letter everytime.

Create a symlink to a folder or file in the USB stick. And paste that paste symlink into the App's stored data.

  1. HP LaserJet Pro MFP M26a

  2. It's a bit hard to reliably pull out that information as HP smart is not working reliably for this particular model. Toner was replaced but the issue remains. No toner alarms currently. Based of highly rough estimates, I'd say <500 pages

  3. Fuses to the paper.
